You might say I'm addicted to my rose-colored glasses but the alternative is not something I want to focus on. Remember words and thoughts have power. I loved reading from a very early age. I grew up with fantasy and sci-fi books (and my mother's Harlequins). I remember reading the Forgotten Planet at 8 and The Hobbit and Narnia Chronicles all the way through at 10.
